Elite Electrolysis Clinic specializes in electrolysis and provides a solution to the problem of unwanted hair. We have been proudly performing electrolysis services with expertise and precision for our clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas for over 35 years. About Electrolysis
Electrolysis has been in existence for over 135 years and is the only proven form of permanent hair removal available today. Electrolysis eliminates unwanted hair permanently by destroying the growth at the root of the hair. A fine probe/filament is inserted into the hair follicle and current is applied, which then destroys the hair. Treatment can be performed on a variety of skin types and hair types.
Electrolysis may be done by one of the following three methods:

Galvanic Electrolysis creates a chemical reaction between the naturally occurring salt and water within the follicle that destroys the hair.

Thermolysis uses heat to remove hair and terminates hair growth.

The Blend is a combination of both current and heat and is considered the most effective method of hair removal.

Our clinic will be reopening on June 20, 2020. We will be contacting clients whose appointments were rescheduled or cancelled because of the COVID-19 closure. We will have limited availability due to the implementation of the new guidelines, staggering of appointment times due to social distancing recommendations and increased sanitation procedures. We will do our best to accommodate all of our clients for their treatments during this transition period.

New Guidelines

If you are feeling sick or experiencing any symptoms that include cough, fever, shortness of breath, runny nose or sore throat, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment.

We will need you to complete our COVID-19 assessment form prior to attending your appointment. The form will be emailed to you for your convenience. It must be completed, then emailed or texted back within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment.

We are encouraging booking appointments through non-contact methods such as email, phone, and text message.

All clients must wear a mask when attending their appointments. Masks will only be removed during scheduled treatment if necessary.

All clients must sanitize or wash their hands before and after treatment.

You will be required to fill out our visitor/client log with your contact information at the clinic.

We ask that you arrive at the scheduled appointment time (maximum 5 minutes early) to maintain social distancing recommendations.

We ask that you come to your appointments unaccompanied, unless necessary, such as a parent/guardian with child situation.

If you require any products or gift certificates, please let us know in advance, and we can have it ready for you.

Elite Electrolysis is a very warm and inviting place where you’re treated with respect. I have been going for a year now and the results are great! I barely have any hair popping up in the treated areas. I appreciated the honesty in Suzanne telling me that it would take a good year of treatments. That way I was prepared and continued with treatments because I knew how long the process would take. Now I can basically go see her when I see any new hair growth, which should be much less often. Suzanne runs on time, so I know when I have an appointment at a certain time, I will be treated and can make plans after that, no problem. Her business is centrally located so it’s convenient for a lot of people to get to and the parking in the back is easy and always available. Suzanne is very friendly and always has a smile and welcoming face when I arrive and she always makes sure I am comfortable during the treatments. I highly recommend Elite Electrolysis.

Do not let the size of the establishment or the fact that it is in a residential zone scare you off or fool you for a second. Elite Electrolysis is a hidden gem. Owned by a mother/daughter team these women are experts and perform their duties with the care and attention you would expect from a professional clinic. Suzanne has taken additional courses in esthetics and offers up the best facial you'll ever have. Amazing! Virginia specializes in electrolysis (although Suzanne is also skilled in this area) and I can personally attest that it works if you are prepared to be disciplined. The treatments are permanent and worth every penny. Both ladies speak fluent Spanish as well as English. This is a must do for anyone wishing to be rid of unwanted hair.
